Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, patients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of their medical care.

Havenwell Psychiatry and Wellness is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Our service fees are provided in our intake paperwork before treatment begins so you can make informed decisions about your care.

If you would like a Good Faith Estimate, we are happy to provide one upon request before your appointment or at any time during your care. A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected charges for scheduled services based on the information available at the time it is prepared. If your treatment needs change, the estimate may also change.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
