Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, patients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of medical services.
Havenwell Psychiatry and Wellness operates as a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Prior to beginning treatment, you will receive information about the cost of services so you can make informed decisions about your care.
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected charges for scheduled services, such as psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits. The estimate is based on the information known at the time it is created and may change if additional services are recommended.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during your care.
