Owner, Founder, and Nurse Practitioner

Hi there, I’m Michelle, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Washington, DC.

I help high-functioning professional adults navigate mood, anxiety, stress, and life transitions, so they can feel steadier, more present, and better supported in both their work and their lives.

I’ve worked in healthcare for most of my life, long before I ever held the title of Nurse Practitioner. I began my healthcare journey as a hospital volunteer at fourteen and went on to study psychology and nursing. Over the years, I’ve cared for patients across medical offices, emergency departments, inpatient units, and in their homes. Over time, my work expanded beyond direct clinical care into healthcare technology, leadership, and consulting, including work with one of the largest consulting firms in the country on complex, large-scale hospital system projects.

These experiences have given me a deep, firsthand understanding of high-stress, high-responsibility environments, and the quiet toll they can take. I’ve worked alongside professionals who are driven, capable, and deeply committed to their work, yet often stretched thin, holding more than they realize.

I’m someone who values goals, growth, and meaningful productivity, and I understand the mindset that comes with that. I also know how essential it is to create space to recharge. For me, that balance comes through time alone, long-distance biking, and being in nature. Many of the images you see on this site were taken on those rides, moments of clarity, restoration, and recalibration.

This perspective shapes how I practice. I genuinely enjoy working with high-functioning professionals and approach care with respect for both their ambitions and their well-being. My goal is to help patients feel steadier, more connected, and better resourced to live and work in ways that feel sustainable, not just successful.
